Questions
Good to know
Should I book sports massage before or after an event?
Both work. A session a few days before helps loosen and prime the muscles, while one after helps flush fatigue and speed recovery. Tell your therapist your event timing and we will tailor the work.
How is it different from deep tissue?
Sports massage adds stretching, compression, and movement aimed at range of motion and recovery, not just deep pressure on knots. It is more dynamic and often targets the muscle groups your sport loads most.
Do I need to be a serious athlete?
No. Anyone who trains, lifts, runs, skis, or is simply active gets value from it. We scale the work to your body and your activity level, not a competition schedule.
Will it help with an old nagging injury?
It can ease the tension and compensation patterns around a recurring tight spot, and we work carefully around it. For a diagnosed injury, we stay in the relaxation-and-recovery lane and defer to your medical provider.
